Re: A Sunlit Sea of Sumptious Colour

We'd call it a riot, probably as we're restless. I like.

    It all started here

I thought a riot was something that only protesters do …

They are real eye popping colours. Like Kodachrome on steroids!

Lovely pics Mark. Did you take them in a botanic garden? Or have you developed green fingers yourself?

Thanks Larry, I am fortunate to have a next door neighbour who has OCGD (obsessive compulsive gardening disorder).
I hate gardening but love gardens so long as I don't have to get my hands dirty.

Re: A Sunlit Sea of Sumptious Colour

Kodachrome - I thought that was the ultimate truthful presentation of colour <g>

Recently on UK TV there has been several programs showing amateur movies showing life in France and the UK from the late 30's to the poste war period.
The film stock used is very varied however Kodachrome stock is very prominent. However the b&w film seems to be the most realistic (there was no colour until the 50's)

Great use of the fish eye, Mark.

Thanks John, the fish is arguably my most useful lens - certainly the most creative.
