Well Larry, on leaving this world it is the portal through which bodyless beings enter the realm of 'the afterlife' where, after a moral assessment, they are recycled to fertile wombs where, upon conception they begin a new existence as perhaps a cat or a dog, a flea or a fly, and possibly even a male or female human; gender and status dependent upon their behaviours in previous incarnations.
