Precisely, Barrie, on my way to my daughter's farm, from 12,000 miles away that indeed was a seriously forensic deduction, almost clairvoyant!Originally posted by Barr1e View PostHeading down to the farm where you had a recent barbecue? Right place right time.

Thanks Jason, I appreciate that.Originally posted by Internaut View PostNice light and colour in this one, and a perfect crop for just the right amount of space.
Nadia's farm comprises 118 acres. When I sit in a rocker on her veranda overlooking her "back paddock", I gaze at the land through half closed eyes, put on a gravelly Burl Ives voice, and rasp, 'Ya know gal, ah 'members a tarm when ah rode fa' three days to a hootenany, where ah met ya dear mother, God bless her soul, child!'. Always good for a laugh.Originally posted by Keith-369 View Post"The front paddock" ???
We would call it a golf course here

Whilst you were watching the antics of a 'Blue Tail Fly' with the 'Big Rock Candy Mountain' in the background and a 'Little Bitty Tear' in your eye from all that laughing, I suppose.Originally posted by pandora View Postput on a gravelly Burl Ives voice, and rasp, 'Ya know gal, ah 'members a tarm when ah rode fa' three days to a hootenany, where ah met ya dear mother, God bless her soul, child!'. It's a phone shot through the window; Oly on back seat. To step out to get it would have probably spooked the mob.Originally posted by Beagletorque View PostVery interesting processing. Nice over sharpening type texture to the trees, road and fleeces. Is this a phone shot or the Oly?
I assume the flock was just taking advantage of a shady patch?
A while later the farmer rocked up in a ute with two collies who quickly drove them into a paddock. Nice seeing them at work.
They belonged to Nadia's neighbour, a mile or so down the road. She said he was simply transferring them from another paddock.
Yep, a sheep whisperer could have rounded 'em up! Actually, Nadia is a horse whispererOriginally posted by OM USer View PostYou need the sheep whisperer (an advert on UK telly for something or other - can't remember).

She breeds Welsh Cobs and there's nothing she can't do with 'em!
