  • Rearing Horse at Forde Abbey

    This was one picture I almost deleted in the field as I was less than enthused about it at the time however, with a little work in post and a conversion to monochrome using silver efex pro 2, it has come alive in my opinion. I normally shy away from the 'antique' look but, in this instance I felt that it suited the subject being a bronze sculpture/statue.

        Nice processing on both photos. I'm not normally a fan of selective colouring but #2 actually works well.

          Thanks; I use selective colouring sparingly as it can be overdone but I don't think in this case the pure colour or a pure monochrome composition worked for this subject.
