#2 in particular is delightful, it's a lovely photograph. I don't suppose the geese were too happy with the arrival of the heron!

It does have that ahh moment methinks.
The heron was quite determined to get closer to the goslings, chased once by one of the parents and I carefully walked the heron away from the group. What happened afterwards I dare not think about.
The one below from a previous day was also hunting for its food.

Anne and I hope all is well - enjoy the coming Bank Holiday.

That's a great shot of the heron. I do fear for the goslings, having attracted the attention of the heron. They are clever, cunning and tenacious birds, as I once witnessed when one of them outsmarted the neighbour's dog to empty their fish pond!Originally posted by Barr1e View PostThanks John -
