    Another instance where just carrying the big 300mm Pro + 1.4 TC was a mistake... It was quite difficult to get far enough away to get the worm and focus properly...

    slo worms can move very fast when they are disturbed and then disappear into the compost heap.

      Mark, I won't ask why in the first place you'd want to shoot a worm, but given the lens you had, that's where a phone cam comes in handy.

        I often see these guys frazzled in the midday sun , I rarely seem to find one alive! Yours looks in pretty good health.
