Re: Thames HDR
Yes, I like these a lot. I love HDR used well; whether its subtlety applied or used more creatively.

Re: Thames HDR
Very nice Andy. The 7-14mm shows it's distortion on the verticals (second shot mainly). I would suggest correcting the perspective distortion to improve the shot.

Re: Thames HDR
Hi Danny
These are from one Raw file, converted into a JPEG and the copied into three images and set at -1,0,and +1 in photomatix.
If I had had a tripod with me I would have bracketed probably five frames with EV set to -1 so the pictures come out at -3 to +1.
As this was going to be a long walk and I had the 7-14,12-60 and the 50-200 and some food and drink with me I didn't feel like lugging a tripod around as well. All the best

Re: Thames HDR
Andy these are cracking.
I especially like the first one, gives a real feeling of racing up the river (i'm guessing you were on a bridge?).
I like the first take on the second shot, I know the verticals aren't straight, but i think it works all the same. The buildings seem like a wee flash of colour in a stormy sky and landscape.
Really liking the processing you've done, it enhances the shots 110%.
Brilliant
