IIRC No.1 is call "The Pavements".

The crooked spire always catches my eye as I drive into Chesterfield. I wonder how many road accidents it causes by distracting drivers?

        Really nice photos, interesting too.

Isn't it such a shame that councils, in their doubtful wisdom, (in the case of towns near me) get rid of outside markets and build/renovate indoor ones which totally lack any atmosphere and then charge so much in rent that only half the stalls are in use..... and those stalls are really just open shops, not a lot cheap there anymore.

Sorry, rant over, It looks like Chesterfield is still keeping open air market stalls, luckily for you.

Thanks, this is all I have at the moment but I plan on taking more when we get a nice day.

I can't make up my mind on the miniature effect on this one?

Thanks. Olympus cameras do have a miniature effect (diorama I think they call it) but it's jpeg only. It's quite an easy effect to do in PP, although of course it will never look exactly like a true tilt shift. I just use 2 grad filters in Lightroom, one coming from the top and one from the bottom. Rather than setting exposure changes for the grad filters decrease sharpening and clarity to create the blur. You can of course do this with brushes too.

Excellent set of images. I always thought Chesterfield was a nice little place and you've just proved it. Didn't realise it had so many old buildings though, must make an effort to have a proper look round one day.
