The wheel was spinning so fast you can't see them?

I'll just point out that this is a 1s exposure hand-held at 100mm (200mm effective focal length in 35mm terms). I find that quite astonishing. I took about 8 shots of the same scene and all but 1 was pin sharp, so it's not just a lucky one-off either.

So you have a very steady hand, or IBIS is amazing ... or probably both

I used to be able to hold 1 sec exposures when I was young! I made a hobby of photographing inside stately homes, and a lot wouldn't allow tripods or flash, so it was a useful ability. I'd fall over if I tried it now! (And I don't even indulge in alcoholic drinks...)

Re: Old Bike in a River

Made me think of an old Last Of The Summer Wine episode I saw again recently where Compo found an old pram wheel in a river.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

Remember the four things you can't have back? The life lived, the arrow sped, the spokes gone........
