The Beautiful Babes of Bondi Beach
(irresistable alliteration)

I was trying to capture the surfer and this person walked right in front of me and ruined my picture. Some people have no manners at all!


As a fellow artist this young lady caught my attention - nowadays this style of art is all the go.
She made me aware of how out of vogue and how bloody old I am!


I was really chuffed to have captured the three surfers before that damned jogger got in the way.


Well we got to talking shop and exchanged cards and before I left (to continue shooting surfers) she was gracious enough to pose for a portrait.


This is simply an overview of Bondi Beach - not many swimmers at that hour of day at this time of year.

That was a surprise - knowing Mark's posts, from the title I was expecting to see some baby seal pups or similar. Oh well, I'll just have to live with the disappointment

Great pictures Mark. When I went to Bondi a couple of years back it did nothing but rain. Didn't stop the surfers but there were no babes in bikinis on show!

Thanks, Paul. Sydney's weather can be unstable as you know. Considering it's spring downunder we were lucky. One day only out of ten did it rain on our visit to the Blue Mountains.

Well I was hoping to shoot some seal pups but had a whale of a time instead.

Mark, I may not be qualified to comment on a good photograph or for that matter an item of art.......... But......... I DO know what I like ! John

Think the British Isles ended up in one of the worst positions on the planet imaginable. We have sky, sure, but rarely is it blue - more like the colour of a dirty bucket of water. It's so depressing, it almost makes picture making a waste of time.
