  • Anemone Through 400mm

    I was looking for a patrolling hornet and had my Leica Lumix 100-400mm* at 400mm. Out of boredom, I took some shots of a Japanese Anemone. The results were good but theflowers were just past their best. So I did a dedicated re-shoot on another day.

    These were hand-held and the images have been only slightly cropped. The distance was at 2.1m. which seemed to be about the closest working distance.

    * Full name: Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 ASPH. POWER O.I.S

    Olympus EM-1, Vario-Elmar 100-400m at 400mm, f10, 1/250 second, ISO 250. I focused manually.

    There is crosseye a stereo which is not very exciting.
