A short trip to Hokkaido.

My better half decided to ROAST me . Booked me to Hokkaido to see Lavender Flowers in the HOT summer..As if it's not hot enough here at home (thank goodness she is not in this forum..)

On arrival after a night flight, (me still groggy from the 6+ hours flight) we were to visit a Ninja Village.







The place is clean thanks to this hardworking lady.


And you have to be really careful as there are ninjas lurking is ....

And like all Japanese, the surroundings are really kept properly and a lot of efforts are made it look balanced.

From there on to the Nixe Marine park, Tiredness set in and that em1.2 with that 12-100 was just too heavy to hold.





All the dolphin act was blur.

After that was to the Lake Toya. This lake does not freeze even during winter as it's on a volcanic area. It's scenic and also a recreational area for the locals

Ususan is suppose to be an active ..Steam can be seen from certain places of this mountain (well to me like a hill )



We then went up the uzusan ropeway up Showa Shinzan



Then..



A "short hike" Ok..me not that fit to go hiking




And was blessed by this view.

From there to the City of Sapporo. A short walk around Odori park,

Hopefully in the near future I will have a chance to visit this area during the Snow Festival.
