  • There from Tower Bridge.

Wifey took me out for a tea near Tower Bridge, here are three shots. Unfortunately I had camera, EM1 MK2 set to JPG and not + RAW, But I like these, using dramatic tone.

Dramatic tone has worked really well for these. 1 & 2 for me.

The third for me, I like the way the modern appears to be spearing up through the old.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

Forget raw, three excellent pictures by any standard. Dramatic Tone really enhances all three and the compositions are inspirational.

Yes, really great compositions. Personally I'm not much of a fan of Dramatic Tone, but those are examples where it works well.

Thank you guys. Yes Mark, DT can be overdone, I sometimes just 'pull it back' in Lightroom.
Re Johns comment, for me, RAW is a must. Having said that, JPG's are getting better.

Hi Dave, perhaps I should clarify that I only meant "forget raw" in the context of these excellent pictures. The choice of dramatic tone filter was inspired and I really don't think having a raw file would have offered any kind of improvement. But as a general rule I agree that raw is a must for making the most of the camera's dynamic range, tweaking white balance, optimum noise control and maximum sharpness.
