        Very nice, Paul. I like the brightness of 1, it adds to the abstract feel..... was this just processing or lens zooming or something else altogether?

                  No 1 for me as no 2 looks overdone. I like the retained sharpness in the trees in no 1.

                    The top one looks the better photo to me. The second looks like a clip from a equally good video (eg: film title).

                      Thanks all. No lens zooming on this (it was taken with the 45 anyhow). I used Nik Analogue Effects. I think I prefer 1 too.

                          I also prefer No1, Paul, the sharper edges add to the atmosphere.
                          The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.
