  • Melbourne Busker

Paul's buskers reminded me of one of my own taken 18mths ago with the E3.
As it happens the 1st image is one I've selected for a painting at some time.

The first especially looks 3-D, definitely grabs the eye.

Shot with the SWD 50-200mm, 1/125, f/5.6, iso640, 119mm, the lens renders nice dof, Steve.

Looks good. Any special processing on the first one?

Hi OM - to answer honestly I went back to the RAW file. There is significant dof to which at some point I appear to have added some lens blur to the tif before conversion to jpg, but not a lot.

I do believe this was shown some time ago. It still stands out as a class act.

            The photo ain't bad either.

Wally, Your memory serves you well, it was posted in March, last year.

As said in my introduction, the busker in No.1 will make a good oil painting if I can render it well.

I look forward to seeing the finished item... There's no time like the present.

You must be patient Wally, painting unlike photography takes more than a fraction of a second, my son!

Have you tried throwing away the round tuit and getting the finger out.
