  • Shooting Geese.

Haven't been able to do much photography lately, weather,Christmas, health issues etc. etc. etc. but we managed to get out to take advantage of this afternoon's welcome sunshine and I shot some geese (with the camera of course).

    Canada Goose.

    Greylag goose.

Swan Goose. (a "foreign" species escaped from a wildfowl collection).

And another. (Well the same one actually )

Just for a bit of variety I thought the low winter sun on the water gave a nice abstract background for these teazles.

    Thanks for looking.

I am glad you were able to get out and take some shots in great light Peter. I really like the second Swan Goose with the gold flecked water.

Great to see you've been to Abberton, what a cracking day it was, too! Nice pictures in that lovely light, I particularly like the teasels.

The reflections on the water add immensely to the images. Glad to see you out, Peter.
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

Thanks for your kind comments folks.

It was only a short session, about 45mins on one of the causeways which cross the reservoir. There was a biting cold wind for which I was not adequately dressed but I couldn't resist the great light and it gave me an opportunity to exercise the E-M10 MK II which was a birthday/Christmas present.

              Regards.
