  • City nights seen through the Oly 45 f1.8

Let's not discuss the camera it was taken with a proper Oly lens, the vastly underrated 45mm f1.8

It's an excellent lens and a photo to match. Probably the best value for money of all the oly primes.

That's an excellent shot, but I'm not sure than the 45mm is underrated, is it? I always thought it was widely appreciated for its superb performance and incredible value for money.

        Thanks guys!
Underrated only by those who think it's a cheap plastic lens, but not by those in the know, those who own this brilliant lens. I basically run a two lens system, on two separate camera bodies, the 15mm f1.7 and the 45 f1.8. The set up is perfect for my u43 needs, and my photographic interest.

A beautiful shot of a dramatically beautiful subject, Steve.

Super Dof, not surprised you like this lens.

The EXIF reveals it was taken at an 'accidental' f4. I normally like to use the lens wide open in situations like this, but in the split second decision to get the capture, the previous setting had to do. I have a second shot of her looking at the lens, but I preferred this one. Two shots and I was off.
