  • Romantic Memories of a Moonlit Night

Circa 2002 seems like long ago since Sandra and I camped on a deserted beach with our inflatable kayaks and Oly C-5050UZ's
This set should be seen as a sequence beginning soon after moonrise to sunrise -this was only one of many such adventures we shared in Tasmania.

    1.

The moonlit view from the sandhills overlooking the bay is unforgettable.
    2.

Our inflatable Sevylors, not as sleek or as fast as fibreglass kayaks but so much lighter and easy to fit in the boot of a car.
    3.

Low tide and a waning moon morphed into some magical moments and we had this remote place all to ourselves.
    4.

A fireball of a sunrise over Clark's Beach on the Tasman Peninsula
    5.

After our dawn photoshoot it was time for brekkie - raw rolled oats and water, usually garnished with dried fruit and nuts (my god we were tuff!)
    6.

Exploring the shoreline and enjoying the sensation of being afloat!
    7.
Ah me, thems were the days! (yon tent can be seen on the beach)

It's great to have memories of magical trips like that to re-live.

Thanks guys - image IQ has moved on a bit since then, although the C-5050uz (forerunner to the XZs) was good in it's day.
