    Re: The Laughing GI

Great capture Paul. WW2 re enactor groups are hugely popular here in France. In June this year I was on holiday in Normandy visiting the landing beaches, it seemed to be an annual pilgamige for such groups and they all seemed to be having a wonderful time. The costumes and vehicles are amazingly well looked after. Traffic jams caused by jeeps and other US Army vehicles was quite a sight! Thanks for sharing as this period is of particular interest to me.
    Regards
    Gary

      Nice shot Paul,

I am pleased to see someone else enjoying the re-enactment season.
