But seriously, here's a living White Admiral from July (which was selected for explore on Flickr so somebody liked it...)

Although I prefer the underside colours and patterns - like in this one from June...

or indeed this shot as a possibly nicer upperside picture...

I'll stop now, as it is quite hard to find them without rips and chunks missing as they tend to get damaged easily by the brambles and dense undergrowth.
Not to mention being sucked into car engine bays...
