In actual fact a poor day mark the best spots I needed to get to the roads were all closed . Bit annoyed in fact as I timed myself for the high tide .the shots I got were from a elevated position .didn’t have time to go elsewhere

The standard auto WB left this a dull grey lacklustre photo ,by selecting cloudy W.B in lightroom it changed the whole look

Mistle Thrush (ID amended)


Not 100% certain of ID. Colour a bit odd??

The spots look more like a Mistle Thrush to me Mark.

yes it's apparent size was more like a Mistle, but my book shows they have a white bib..I'll back your ID tho', Thanks Ron..:-)

Our walk along the canal today was quite pleasing - we spotted at least seven heron and four or five kingfishers.
