  • Wed evening grabs

After work last night I felt the urge for a short sharp photo walk, grabbed the EM1+Pany 100-300mm and took a walk down the lane near home.

I grabbed a couple of images in the garden first of the yellow roses with wasp & fly and then down the lane for a few other images.

It was nice to take a small light combo after recent events shot with the full frame combo and the results are very pleasing.

Every time I consider leaving four thirds I take the EM1 out, appreciate the shape, size, weight and tactile use as well as the IQ................looks like it is staying with me

all good but first and last get top spot for me.

The first because you have one of my favourite macro subjects nicely caught in flight and the last because I love the "country look with it chewing on a straw, classic

        Thank you both,

It is amazing how if you do not use equipment for a while and contemplate letting it go then take it out to see how you feel, there is a new enthusiasm and appreciation for what it does that makes me say to myself - keep it, use it, enjoy it!

              Thank you both,

I guess with the M4/3 being so small and light it is easy to overlook - must make more effort to use it!

Ian, I think many of us can echo your thoughts about the compactness of the 43rds system whenever we consider a possible move to full frame (the itch is always there for me though, but well suppressed, LOL!).
