  • Skiddaw

View over Swinside to Skiddaw in the Lake District.
I was prepared to wait a wee while for a break in the clouds so that Dod (the hill below Skiddaw) got some light on it to separate it from the back ground.
Luckily, I didn't have long to wait

Patience, the key to landscape photography. Well worth the wait.

      Thanks John
I'm not known for my patience but in this case it paid off

The Lake District at its photogenic best! A lovely photo.
Weather permitting, I can actually see Skiddaw from the top of my garden (through binoculars!)

That extra light has made a really nice composition. I like it.
