  • The two day summer

Today was the 2nd sunny day in a row, it must be summer. But rain's forecast for tomorrow when I'm off to the Lakes

Here's a couple of sunny ones from near Alnwick.

Get 4 fine days in a row and we have a drought, 5 days and we get a hosepipe ban.

The pattern here in Manc, at the moment, seems to be gorgeous sunny days in the week, and rubbish at the weekend. Nice shots.

A few years ago I spent a miserable week in late July in Oldham, not only did it rain every day, including the weekend, but the road outside the house was wet even in the brief sunny spells we had on three of the days.

No wonder they all have webbed feet.

It's raining. Normal service is resumed.
