Not a usual photo opportunity, as there was no water in the fountain, I jumped in and got close. Taken with the new 7-14 @ 7.

I like that you have "popped" the colour on this. Such a pity there was no water.

A great shot, the colour popping works very well to isolate the subject from the background without loosing detail from it, (if that makes any sense).

      Thanks for sharing.

Great shot, and as said before I like the colour pop.

Me too. I like the colour.
Just as a point of discussion - the little statue on the right.
It drew my eye straight away which led me to wonder - could it have the colour pop too - or - be removed altogether - or - is it a case where the small figure actually adds to the overall picture?
          What do you think?

Interesting point Lyn, I'll give it a try and post up! Thanks for the idea.

                What did you think?
I don't like the little statue gone, but really like the new one and the original too.
Would be interesting to hear what others think even if we are in FF and not LFI.
Your photo has encouraged me to do a tutorial on colour popping.
Not enough hours in the day!
                Thanks for indulging my thought!

                    Re: Wrest Park Ladies

I prefer the version with the statue in, I think it is because the shadow of the tree doesn't look right where you have filled it in (too dark, maybe to perfectly round). Could you not try cloning the shadow out completely?

                      My thoughts exactly.
