  • Cuba 71 - Bizarre

This photo has to be a contender for the most bizarre photo of the holiday. The guy on the mini moped (which looks like a folding bike, but had a petrol engine stuck on the back) shot off as soon as the lights changed in a cloud of smoke!

    Waiting for the lights...

You've shown us some great photos, but I think this might be the photo of the holiday. Everything's in balance, the colours and composition are great, and there's just that hint of humour and character to the scene.

I think it is my current favorite, certainly made me smile both at the time and when I was processing it!

You certainly grabbed a great opportunity with both hands, it's so funny!

Like everyone else has commented, definitely a bar raiser from a great series of pictures from life's other side.

Your average Cuban may not have much, but they do make the best of what they have.

I have to admit to smiling even as I post this... set's my day up nicely.
