What a clever shot., beautiful atmosphere. Is the pool of light on the cross for real, or PS'd Paul?

Any idea what it's for ?

I also like that there is a "bee/bug" box on the tree.

That is obviously for 'cross pollination' Graham. A fine image Paul. I like it a lot.

Very well spotted, seen and realised. It's lovely. I'm guessing a grave?

Its a well captured shot and I like it but the darker greens to the right and in the foreground look slightly unnatural. The cross looks like nice bright daylight but these other areas look more like they have been lit by evening "golden light" rather than normal daylight shadow.

Great light & lead in, may be tempted to crop to the end of the tree as I find it splits the image slightly

No doubt the resting place of a much loved pet. Nicely composed with a hint of mystery.

All looks pretty genuine to me. It's a lovely well spotted shot. Cropping the RHS looses the lovely red flowers which would be a shame but I see what was meant by the tree separating the image comment. If I was going to crop it I think I'd just cut a bit off the bottom. That seems to lessen the tree separation feel somehow without loosing the mystery.

Love the image Paul but not a fan of the introduced colour caste.
