  • ONE at Wisley RHS

I met up with a great long years friend at Wisley RHS Gardens for a walk in the grounds and my first visit to the New Glass Houses ...(well they were opened in 2007 by the Queen and Prince Phillip, but I was last there in 2006 )

    Amazing !

    Just a Fern

actually, it is real sharp in orf on my pc and the jpeg processing above leaves me cold

here is a re processed version which is more like the ONE capture

and all the below are much sharper too sorry

Singapore Jade Orchids growing down are beautiful

Bird of Paradise one among a flock again beautiful

forget the name of this Orchid

    and this one

difficult light/conditions as the glass windows need cleaning and it was cloudy/overcast outside but the ONE did well

Enjoy ! well worth a visit and just off the A3/M25

I'm long overdue a return visit, it was in the last stages of being built, when I was last there.

          Excellent work Chevvy!

Obviously ONE means quite a few more than one, but no complaints.

A very exotic set Chevvy. I like those Jade Orchids.

One would be pleased to have taken one (or more) shots like these with one's "one" but one would have to remember that being in a glass house one should not throw stones.

                      Sorry one couldn't resist.

Thanks for stopping by and your kind comments

I can highly recommend a visit and apparently the Glass houses are filled with Butterflys in the summer - Graham check the RHS website for more info. My friend said it was " stunning with huge butterflys of every colour" so I shall go again later this year, when its hot HOT HOT and the Butterflys about too

I have some amazing Water images to share tomorrow
