Still good pictures Chris. I didn't have face detect on when i took my pics at a concert on Weds...the guy from Olympus told me to take it off, it stopped the lens focusing where it shouldn't be...i tended to focus 1/2 shut button zoom to where i wanted and fully press....auto iso helped too..but i'm no expert...

sorry didn't realise you had the 1.4 converter on as well, which of course loses you a stop...most of mine taken were no converter and wide open at 2.8...

Thanks At some of the gigs I get the pit and I get the side of the stage so framing oppurtunities are increased.
I like working in the local British Legion where I can get behind the stage.
The OMDs have made gig photography easier but still have their 'features' but I dont have any comparison with the likes of the Nikon D4 or D3S, certainly easier than pushed film and manual focuschris
