  • Some photos from new lens - 12 - 60 SWD

New lens arrived Sat morning past there - 12-60 SWD - courtesy of Steve (Paullus) - many thanks Steve - so went out in the afternoon to test it out. I do like using the ART filters on my E620 as I feel they do a decent job, and mean they require less processing. Only processing done on the photos has been to straighten them up, otherwise they are as is from the camera.

In my pics select original rather than thumbnails?
Have not commented as viewing site on phone will get s better view later or if I right you manage to post them larger.

I don't think the Pale Tones filter suits the subject but the others all work really well.

I particularly like No 3 and feel it could look even better by cropping the top slightly to lose the hedge above the wall.

Nice shots - that was my daily walk to work route until I moved last year.

Thanks John - No. 3 cropped to take out the hedge at the top and also cropped slightly at the bottom as well to balance up the content.
