  • Around Afon Glaslyn

I'm trying to do my bit to counter recent comments that the site has recently gone a bit quiet...

Here are a few more images from my visit to North Wales. The first 2 were taken at the viewing point on the Capel Curig - Beddelgert road.

    1) Afon Glaslyn waterfalls with Cwm Dyli and Crib Goch beyond. On a clear day I think the summit of Snowden should be visible (on the horizon above the pipeline).

    2) Looking down the Glaslyn valley towards Llyn Gwynant

    3) View south across Llyn Dinas towards Mynydd Llyndy

This is to remind myself that I'm sitting indoors instead of out there taking photos!

Love 1 and 2 - the light really gives them depth.

Thanks to all for your encouraging comments.
I'm continually surprised by how much the light varies from moment to moment in this country. One second the scene you want to image appears drab, and then the next it suddenly 'sings'.
