Phill, do you clip her ears ? she looks exceedingly relaxed - a great portrait
and I think they are quite rare, her colour?
Hi Chevvy, yes I do clip her ears, but we like to leave them slightly longer than her coat. The only place she hates having trimmed are her feet between her toes.
Our boy is picked up like a baby lying on his back and is then happy to have his toes clipped. Try to do them with him standing is a no no as he just walks away or pulls his paws away. Saffron looks a very relaxed pup.
She is gorgeous Phil.
Not being very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, I am fascinated by her long eyelashes. Do all spaniels have them, and can they be a bother to them?

Hi Lynne,
Not sure if all spaniels have such long lashes, I thought it was to help protect their eyes when working in the field......Maybe someone a bit more knowledgeable will be able to tell more.
