    Hi there Byegad!

I'm very jealous - I've always wanted to see a Kingfisher, but never have - I'm not sure that we have any round here anyway. Two nice pictures.

    Cheers,

    Ralph.

I am envious too, still waiting for my first capture. Well done!

Ralph. Low Barns is a Durham Wildlife Trust site based near Witton le Wear. Not too far for you if you drive. The West Hide is your best bet with up to 5 birds showing and up to 6 have been seen on the river Wear alongside the reserve and it's accessible from the reserve footpath that runs alongside the river.

I've seen plenty of kingfishers but never got a picture of one. Very nice.
