  • I didn't know...

    ...that Grasshoppers could swim, but apparently they can.

    Found this one, a Common Green doing a fair impression of the breast stroke across one of our ponds.


    Mind you it's a good thing it was moving at speed as the pond is full of these nasty Backswimmers (aka Waterboatmen) which would have eaten it.


    I always think there's something inherently evil about a creature that swims upside down immediately under the surface of the water and breathes through its erm... B*M.
