    I like the helicopter hovering over the sunflowers.
    It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

          excellent Huw You have got the true colour of the rose and no high spots.
          I always make a hash of red. The pigeon detail is my favourite. John.

                Lyn, well spotted, sad to say we're not the greatest of gardeners

                Ed, all were taken with the 60 mm macro with the exception of the first (75-300).

                  Huw, that Red Rose really does it for me ! AWESOME CAPTURE of detail and RED exceedingly well done !

                  ps not far from you, near the Roundwood entrance - is a MAJESTIC great tree, fallen over jut off the road, it is opposite one of the "lay by" A303 Popham airfield end ! ITs HUGE ! laying on its side with a rootball of 30 ft up in the air ! quite a sight !

                        Thanks for the comments Chevvy, C07 handles reds extremely well, much more lifelike than Oly out of camera jpegs.
                        Regarding the tree, thanks for the heads up but unfortunately it doesn't sound like its that close (we're west of Reading)
