  • Dramatic clouds

    A storm was brewing up near my house and the clouds were pretty dramatic:

    Wow that's great.

    Great composition with the lowest, darkest part of the cloud over the houses and the lovely contrasting sunlight on the vivid green crops.

            that is a fierce looking sky Paul, expect a "twister" to form at any minute

                    Excellent, it really 'displays' how a good photograph can be taken in challenging conditions. I'd like to know how long you waited for this shot to develop atmospherically, and what post was applied.

                            Steve - I was watching the thing brewing for 20-30 mins. There were several flashes of lightening and about 15 mins after I took the shot, the heavens opened!

                            PP wise, I lightened the foreground a little and added some additional 'clarity' to the clouds.
