  • More Southwest USA

A few more from Arizona & New Mexico last month: all images from OM-D EM-1 and mostly 12-40mm or 40-150mm, except for the first, which is Samyang 7.5mm fisheye

Bisti wilderness, New Mexico. Closest I've ever been to another planet!

You've heard of waterfalls? This is a drier environment

      Re: More Southwest USA

Is the Bisti Wilderness area accessible by a regular car or is it 4wd country.

For Coyote Buttes did you get to it from the north or south and again was it normal car accessible.

Sublime natural patterns and textures with wonderful light. No2 looks like something out of Doctor Who!

Great images, Margaret - you have shown wonderful textures and patterns and the light is superb. I also think the cloud pattern in the final one further enhances that particular shot.

                    Re: More Southwest USA

Thanks - the southern end of House Rock Road has the Californian Condor release site on it I think. It is just possible to see the training electricity cables and poles.

Did you go on Highway 89T - it was specially built to bypass the landslip on Rte 89 just north of the turnoff to Vermilion Cliffs.

Which were taken with the 40-150? Presumably this is the m43rds kit lens?

Um, er, gosh.. now you're asking!

I'm not at my own computer right now, so can't check the EXIF. Probably the last one was, and probably not the others. It's this lens - didn't come as a kit for me, mine came with the new 12-40mm.
