  • Nature's Most Rapturous Colours.

The north eastern Victorian landscape is ablaze with intoxicating colour against the backdrop of azure blue skies.

At the risk of over publishing the model I just couldn't resist this setting for yet another portrait of guess who!

Below: Another ground shot also proved an irresistible subject for the XZ-2's super macro mode.

The camp stool always resides in the boot of my car for just such occasions!

Contre jour photography technique enriches the hues of this autumnal scene.

Super colours Mark. Your wife is a lady that tollerates your shutter happy brain. You owe her a nice dinner in a fine dining establishment for her services modeling. :-)

Thanks Huw, Autumn is always something special for me, aside from a reminder that I'm another year older.

Terrific lighting, colours and composition in these Mark. Very unique portraits of a person who is obviously incredibly special to you. I like them a lot.

As you guessed, Janette is very special to me Ron. She unfortunately is a victim of Alzheimer's dementia, mercifully not as severely as many. Aside from which at 82 years, she is in excellent health.

The colour made us delirious, Hec ... after the shoot we stayed there and pick-nicked under that umbrella of colour.

This autumn has been the best for years in our area Mark. Not much wind to take the leaves down, and people have been planting more of the autumn coloured trees. You are lucky to live in such a pretty place.
I like your close-up shot of the fallen leaves with the spikes of grass pointing through.

I agree, it is a most glorious autumn, Lyn and as you say, no serious wind to take down the leaves.

I took quite a few ground level macro shots, many as yet unprocessed. I am really soaking up all that colour!
