We've just had a couple of nights at Stratford Lit Fest and caught interviews with Alan Johnson MP and Ray Davies. We managed to get decent seats so I could stick the Stylus on my knee and fire of some non-intrusive shots. I was quite surprised how well the shots came out given the rough and ready way they were taken. Heres a few:
Ray Davies - by his own admission not a good speaker, but very interesting. There were some great tales "The drummer tried to kill Dave" type of stuff. It was obvious from the vibes that he took a dislike to the interviewer, which added to things a bit. The shots were all drastically over exposed on account of the dark background, I didn't seem to be able to fix it at the time.
I thought he suited the Victorian look:

Alan Johnson, he seemed a thoroughly decent bloke and still does his Hull MP's surgeries every week.
OOF, but such a nice smile I thought I'd keep it.
