Re: Greenhills by Greenhill
Wonderful quality of light, I very much like the second shot.
Our clocks go forward tonight and we're expecting a spell of much warmer weather too...hopefully providing more photo opportunities.see my blog... http://www.rps.org/my-rps/portfolio

Hmmph. Our clocks go back in 6 days. Autumn is seriously setting in.Originally posted by brianvickers View PostOur clocks go forward tonight and we're expecting a spell of much warmer weather too...hopefully providing more photo opportunities.
I've been enjoying cape gooseberries, however. I've got several self-sown plants, and I snack whenever I go past them.

Thanks Brian. I've re-edited the first shot without so much contrast - that's what happens when you edit late at night way after bedtime. Judgement go right out the window!Originally posted by brianvickers View PostWonderful quality of light, I very much like the second shot. I left the fences in especially for you Lyn!Originally posted by Floribunda View PostI like the 2nd shot too Mark - and the fences.
Thanks, have a savvy on me.

Re: Greenhills by Greenhill
I suspect the high contrast in No1 is the trade-off for a smaller sensor in that type of light. It's great to see the old shack photographed from a different angle, four years later.

Great set, I love landscapes with rolling skies full of clouds (Constable type) so these appeal to me.Ian from the Cotswolds

Thanks John. To a degree that may be so. The other factor may well be my processing.Originally posted by Zuiko View PostI suspect the high contrast in No1 is the trade-off for a smaller sensor in that type of light. Thanks Ian, IMG1, Conor. Such atmospherics are typical of this region of Victoria with its wide flat plains flanked by curvaceous hills.Originally posted by Iansky View Post
