  • My new niece

The newest addition to our family, born just two days before I went in for my op so I first saw her when she was 10 days old and again a week later. All taken with the E-M1 and 12-40. The first two were in our living room which can be quite dark so I think it did a good job.

    Sleeping beauty:

With her Mum (who doesn't always like her picture being taken, but I think this is a nice one):

    With Grandma:

OK, so I've given everyone a cuddle and now you tell me we have to go get my big sister! It's too much!:

    Hope you enjoy!

Lovely shots Amanda. Isn't she tiny! I agree with Brian, there is something very appealing about the bootee.

Thank you all. The bootee was only pulled out at the last minute so was almost a grab shot. I love taking pictures of her big sister too, although sometimes her Dad doesn't like it. I keep them all safe for them and their parents.

Congratulations on the new arrival Amanda.

Pictures of a new family arrival are the most important and precious ones we take.

Your first shot is perfect (but I like the bootee too. ).

                Regards.

Pic 4 is my favourite (the look on her face whilst looking at Grandma). Lovely set, thanks for posting.

                              Re: My new niece

Wow! Thank you everybody for your lovely comments. And yes, I love being an Auntie so both her and her big sister are certain to be spoiled (within limits, of course). I.m very proud and lucky to have such a great family, and to have put our past troubles behind us.

Her big sister has a nickname for her - noisy! Especially when Ben and Holly are on.
