Not much happening on the beach this morning and there was a very strong, contrasty contra-jour light which didn't help but I managed a few shots with the EM-1 + 75-300 mk2 that I thought may be of interest
What do you reckon, worth the effort or should I learn when to give up?
A 100% crop of a fast flying Redshank, I only just managed to catch this one in the EVF its was so far distant

This Pied Wagtail was sat on a boat and just about covered a single focus point (large) in the EVF but I got a lock on it. Then it decided to take off so I thought, got to have a go (another 100% crop)

I spotted this cormorant fishing and decided to bang off a few shots with SAF + 10fps to see if I could catch it doing anything interesting. This was just as it started its take off run, the shutter speed is too low (1/500th sec) and the lighting was, as you can see, dire but I though it gave an impression of the frantic efforts these things make to get of the water

The next one was all about timing (the light was good in this direction)

The final one is for the romantics amongst us, these two young Swans were deeply involved in pair bonding with some lovely mirroring (they hadn't quite got the hang of the "Love Heart" yet but they are only kids
