Rest in peace the Black Pearl

Hi there Everyone!

Here are some pictures taken a couple of weeks ago of the Black Pearl, a community sculpture and children's favourite which was washed away in yesterdays storm surge. Made by local people from driftwood found on the beach, it has returned to driftwood to be remade once again some time soon.

Rest in Peace the Black Pearl.

Yo ho ho and a bottle o' rum! What a great project, may the Black Pearl rise again from Davy Jones' locker to draw its wake upon the Spanish Main! Great coverage there, Ralph.
