I am not sure about this one, with all the lovely BIF shots posted here, but even though I didn't quite nail this gull, I keep coming back to it, probably because it isn't the usual sleek gull shot.
I like this one too, there is enough sharp areas where it matters, it's a good capture nicely framed best of all if you like it that's what counts. If others do then that's a bonus, so far who have 3 thumbs up, great stuff

I am not into bird photography at all but I like this.
Its possible to pick holes in it all round but I would criticising what I like about it. There are enough bits sharp for this to work for me.
Hi Alf, Thanks for replying. This is exactly what I thought when I saw it. Plenty of it not as we try to do with BIF, but the oof feathers gave me the feeling of flight.

Thanks Tom. I DO like it, I think it seems to capture the cheekiness and "don't care attitude" of gulls.
