I have been testing a new scope recently. The scope is a TL APO804, 480mm F/6. At only 35 cm long (in transport mode) it's really compact and portable. Weight is around 2kg so it is possible to operate hand held or with monopod, and possible to bring as hand luggage.
Fitted with triplet ED FL53 glass and precision focuser it should be capable of delivering, which these first tests seem to confirm. Apologies for the repetitive setting (my backyard).
It will nicely fill the gap between the 50-200 SWD and the 700mm and likely replace the Bigma.
These are ~75% crops, distance around 4 meters with the E5.
