Super shot never seen so many together in one place.
Thanks.
We have quite many around here, I guess the biotope is the right one with many shallow waters rich in vegetation. As a measure of precaution they will often congregate in hundreds during the non-breeding season, staying close together and acting as one. The pictures I shared are taken when a Sea Eagle made an appearance, scouting the lake for something edible. I was split between what to photograph and decised to focuse on the Coot which turned out to be the right decision since the Eagle was attacked by brave Lapwings and pulled back before it came within photo range.
