  • Chelsea In Mono

I gave this one of Chelsea the mono treatment.

    Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.

That's absolutely delightful. A real keeper.

I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.

A shot like that shows me the huge gap between the professional and the amateur.

Yes, but the professionals are trying hard to catch him up!

Thank you for the compliment, but I'm not a pro but a amateur in the true sense of the word which in French meant someone who does something for the love of it , the word has been degraded over the years and it used to be a compliment.

Thank you Tim, just natural light, in my sons kitchen with the back door open giving the directional soft light similar to a large light bank.

I used to work a lot with studio lights but since i have been using natural light almost exclusively the last few years for portraits I seem to have developed a eye for natural light and where to position them.

Your making me blush again John but there have always been bad pro's and good amateurs and vice versa....against some of the bad pro's I guess I don't do to bad.

I am glad I had put my tea down when I read that nice one John.

I was thinking something like that when I read the original comment. There is certainly nothing wrong with being such a good amateur IMO.
