Thank you for the compliment, but I'm not a pro but a amateur in the true sense of the word which in French meant someone who does something for the love of it , the word has been degraded over the years and it used to be a compliment.Originally posted by banjukes View PostA shot like that shows me the huge gap between the professional and the amateur.
Thank you Tim, just natural light, in my sons kitchen with the back door open giving the directional soft light similar to a large light bank.Originally posted by timg View PostThat was supposed to be how did you light it... Typing on a tablet!
I used to work a lot with studio lights but since i have been using natural light almost exclusively the last few years for portraits I seem to have developed a eye for natural light and where to position them.

Your making me blush again John but there have always been bad pro's and good amateurs and vice versa....against some of the bad pro's I guess I don't do to bad.Originally posted by Zuiko View PostYes, but the professionals are trying hard to catch him up!

I am glad I had put my tea down when I read that nice one John.Originally posted by Zuiko View PostYes, but the professionals are trying hard to catch him up!

I was thinking something like that when I read the original comment. There is certainly nothing wrong with being such a good amateur IMO.OMD E-M1ii MMF3 8-25 f4 Pro 40-150 f2.8 pro MC-14 12-40 pro 14-42 EZ 9-18 f4.0 -5.6 40 -150f4-f5.6 R Laowa 50mm f2.8 macro Sigma 105 f2.8 macro Holga 60mm plastic Holga pinhole lens lens and an OM2sp
