    A squashed flower

    I took this as a grab shot when training behind our tour group in Vilnius.

    I couldn't resist a go at capturing this squashed flower.

    I find this photo has so much atmosphere. There must be a story behind it. I am imagining a gilted lover but that might be the old romantic in me.

            I thought the first shot in B/W was a brooch of some sorts. Specsavers here I come! Great shot.

                Rather flat and uninteresting in mono. Slightly better in colour imo.

                  Hi there Everyone!

                  Sorry Benvendetta, but I have to say that I prefer the mono - it seems to bring out the texture of the soil in front and the fine hairs on the stems, which make the mono more interesting to me.

                  They're both great shots though Alf!

                      Works well in colour I love the gold tone, now if the rest was a certain shade of blue then I'd say you'd have a winner on your hands.

                          I was thinking a shade of blue along these lines, worth trying out I think.

                              For me that mono shot is just great. A really interesting subject, basically what is called fine art these days.
