    Re: The Cuillins

    Lovely POV and Dof control.

It would work well in mono.

      Jings - I hope that camera's waterproof!
I do like low angle shots, and this is a good one. And I like the wee mini-Cuillin sticking out of the water in the foreground that mimics the one (Glamaig?) just above and to the right!

        Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, it is Glamaig, over Loch Ainort. I used the live view for this rather than the viewfinder . The camera was only an inch or so above the water, and I just about trusted myself not to drop it!

Great shot . I spent a week in a holiday cottage ("Otters Leap") which must have been very close to where you took that. We saw the view one morning, the rest of the time it was blowing a gale and raining buckets ...

Excellent composition, especially the foreground detail shot from a dramatic low angle. You are obviously an accomplished landscaper!

Superb shot in colour or B&W.

I think I'm more likely to side with gregles!

Great subject matter always helps too.

Nic, I prefer the colour - the foreground in the B&W looks strange.

Have you got a shot of the pointy Cuillin?
