    Re: Cheltenham street

Do your subjects ever know you have taken the shot, or is it strictly grab shots, Ian?
Whichever, your results are always interesting to view !
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

      Re: Cheltenham street

I find that trying to sneak around and be covert often draws more attention so I now just get in a position, compose the image and take the picture - if they see me, I will often thank them, show them the result and tell them why I took it - I do always send them a copy if they ask for one.

Seems to work and if some says no or looks upset then I will not take the shot - I do try and respect their space.

I like the last image, the bench kind of draws you to the subject

          Thanks Phil,

This gent had just been sorting his shopping out but I was too late to catch that act - I like the way the octagonal bench around the tree draws you into the frame.
